Alert can be sent to email, text message, phone, instant message and fax. Text-to-speech is used in phone alert.

Alert can be sent one device at a time or multiple devices at one shot. However alert can be only sent to one person at a time.

Alert is either delivered immediately or queued, depending on delivery channel.

There is no retry if an alert cannot be delivered.

Alert is text only:

· No attachment in email alert

· No voice recording in phone alert (use TTS)

· No image in fax alert

Three major messengers are supported:

1. AIM

2. MSN

3. Yahoo!
