What is a footnote anyway?
Currently, there is only one footnote. It will be played back over the phone, and will also appear on emails, instant messages and fax.
With free service, there is always a 6Channel6 footnote. With premium service, it is removed and you can add your own.
Sometimes, important phone reminders cannot go through. What can I do about this?
When a phone reminder fails to go through, we will retry up to three times. If nobody picks up by then, then there is nobody available to answer. To ensure that important reminders reach your client, we have added a feature to "call again automatically at the best time you choose". When enabled, you can select the best time, such as during dinner when most people are home, to call again automatically.
Here is how to set it up: In the Customize Reminder tab of the Set Preferences page, there is an option saying "If a call cannot go through, call again automatically on the same day at:". Select the best time that you believe people can be reached. Whenever a call fails after 3 retries, and if the time specified has not passed, the system will automatically add this time to the reminder. This will save you even more time and labor, and keep your mind at peace.
How would I add music to my call? Would I be able to choose my own music,
would I have to upload it, or would I have to choose from a pre-approved list?
The music file can be uploaded from the Set Preference page Reminder Format tab.
There are 2 ways to navigate there.
After logging in, click the Customize Reminder Format link on the home page. Alternately, you can highlight the Account tab
and select Preferences. Then, click the Edit link in the 3rd frame with the title "Reminder Format".
In the Set Preference page, check the option to "Play music at the end of phone
reminders" at the bottom of the page. Click the "Upload" link to upload a .wav file,
and click the Submit button or link to save the settings.
This setup only needs to be done once.
If you want to stop playing the music, but still keep the music file for future use, you can simply uncheck "Play music at the end of phone reminder".

Once customized in this manner, the only English left will be "Goodbye" at the end of the reminder.
Can my telephone number be displayed in the Caller ID box of my clients' phones?
We know that you want people to see your phone number and be able to easily call you back when they receive your reminders. Unfortunately, at this time, this feature is too expensive to implement. Your client's Caller ID will display the phone number we use to make the calls.
The music at the end of my phone reminder does not play. Why?
Make sure that you've checked the box next to "Play music at the end of a phone reminder" near the bottom of the Customize Reminder Format page. To confirm that your message is set up properly, please click the Show Customization Result link at the bottom of the Customize Reminder Format page. Additionally, go to the Detail of an Event or Reminder page and click on Preview Phone Reminder in the Notify My Contacts section.
